Ckit Newsletter
Guidelines for Articles / Papers Submitted
We provide the following guidelines for all submissions to the Ckit Newsletter :-
- The item must be relevant to the industry. It must be borne in mind that the recipients of the Newsletter are primarily in the engineering field. Items should thus be directly or indirectly relevant.
- Articles and press-releases must be news-worthy. Press-releases, new product developments, completed contracts, new technologies, etc. are interesting and enable readers to stay informed.
- Articles should be no longer that 2 x A4 pages (portrait) including images or photographs, submitted in MS Word 6 (or later release). A separate prcis of the article must accompany each submission, in less than 40 words. Any diagrams, images, graphics or logos to appear with the article should be submitted separately, in .jpg or .jpeg format, no larger than 100kB each.
- Papers which are longer than 2 pages should be captured in the Ckit Handbook. In such cases the prcis on the Email will direct the reader to the portal rather than to the Newsletter.
- Articles which do not conform to the above will either be edited by Ckit or rejected altogether.
- Ckit gives no firm undertaking regarding the date(s) on which the article will be published as this follows a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Ckit reserves the right to publish or refuse to publish articles submitted for inclusion in the Ckit Newsletter.
